A famine of the word........................
We are getting closer to a time when the Word of God will not be allowed to be printed or spoke of. If you watch and listen you can see the faint rumblings across the world already. How long? No one but God knows but Jesus said if we had eyes to see and ears to listen we would see signs.
We speak of free speech and in the free world of USA, and other countries it sounds great but it is becoming less accepted in the name of "open mindedness" and "Tolerant". The day will come when I can not blog about my faith or belief and certainly a day is coming when the word of God from the Bible will be forbidden.
So what do we do? We study daily and diligently to know what God's word is and His ways now. We pass down our knowledge to our children and grandchildren so they can pass it down. For what we commit to our minds can not be taken away!!
As the new year comes, let us gird up for even greater effort to stay close to God and learn. Daily bible study should be the norm for all true believers, not a occasional open book on the day you attend church. May God strengthen and give great courage to all his prophets and teachers. For yes indeed, the fields are ripe for the harvest but the ones needed to teach and lead are few.
