Wicked Tenants!

“A man planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it,dug a place for the wine vat and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country. Now at vintage-time he sent a servant to the vinedressers, that he might receive some of the fruit of the vineyard from the vinedressers. And they took him and beat him and sent him away empty-handed. Again he sent them another servant, and at him they threw stones,[a] wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated. And again he sent another, and him they killed; and many others, beating some and killing some. Therefore still having one son, his beloved, he also sent him to them last, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ But those vinedressers said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’ So they took him and killed him and casthim out of the vineyard.
“Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard do?

So, if that had been your vineyard and this had happened to you, how would you react?  And yet this is how God see's how mankind has acted to His giving us life and even sending His son on our behalf....

He will come and kill the farmers. He will give the field to other farmers.
10 “Have you not read what the Holy Writings say? ‘The Stone that was put aside by the workmen has become the most important Stone in the corner of the building. 11 The Lord has done this. It is great in our eyes.’” 12 The leaders wanted to take Him but they were afraid of the people. They knew He had told the picture-story against them. They left Him and went away.

This was Mark 12 in the new testament.  Something to think about today as so many feel "self entitled" in this world.  But everything we have has been given to us by God.  Yet we have no regard to who gave us all things or even the Holy things of God like His WORD or His SON.  We rail and hate God's servants who try to come and give us the word and explain things to us.   The true servants of God, not the ones who "appear" as a servant but who's fruit do not show them to be a follower of Christ.

Pray for all of God's servants and followers.  Pray for their health and ability to keep proclaiming the Kingdom of God coming.  Esp pray that we shall all seek to have a closer relationship with our God and Jesus Christ, studying daily and seeking the path of love toward man kind instead of hate.
