Bloom where You are Planted!

"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall: But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." ISAIAH 40:29-31

Has God planted you in a dry and hard place?

Then you are most blessed my friend!
No matter if it is sickness, poverty, or what the physical conditions are, you can survive and THRIVE just like this flower in the photo!

Here its seeds landed among a tiny bit of saw dust on a cement bridge. The wind and rain hit here more than most places. Yet God has given it all it needs to
bloom and grow. This fall it will
produce seeds that will blow in the wind        and successfully propagate many more for us to enjoy next year!

If there is one thing I have learned this last 30 plus years, walking with God, it is that no matter the circumstances, in Spite of the circumstances, God provides.  My happiness and ability to be successful in life has nothing to do with how much money I make, or how big my house, or what I possess. My success is in how much I surrender to His will and Believe His promises, Trust in His providence.

When we learn to get the "I" out of our life, we reap Peace.  There is no "i" in Peace.   Have you not seen the most happy of people in the most dire of circumstances?  A poor man living in hut with peace is richer than the billion dollar executive living in lawsuits, greed, and stress his whole life if this poor man has God in His life, he is happy!

When we focus away from our expectations of what we should have and put them on being thankful for all God has provided, we start our journey to true happiness and peace.  Thriving where we are planted, in rocky soil or fertile ground.  Do we have enough to eat? Do we have water to drink?  A roof over our head, some clothes to wear?  For those who Trust in God these things are always provided!  They might not be what YOU think you should have but they are what you Need.  Only God knows what your soul needs to grow and develop in greater spiritual perfection.  Trust him with this growth.  Also Trust that He will make sure you have all that you need to live and grow like this flower above, no matter where you are.
